World music
Every week | Peer-to-Peer Encounters
World Music is not a traditional course, it’s a series of peer-to-peer sessions where we explore music from around the world through singing, playing, and movement.
No music theory, no fixed roles, no boundaries, just shared experience and collective discovery.
Together, we’ll learn traditional and contemporary world music by ear, integrating voice and body to better understand rhythm, melody, and harmony.
Everyone is welcome to join.

voci dal mondo
Casa della Musica, Lungro | March 27, 2026
One music, a thousand voices, one world.
Voci dal Mondo is a project designed for primary schools that uses world music as a bridge for connection, discovery, and inclusion.
The workshops, funded as part of the PON Inclusion and Fight Against Poverty 2021-2027 programme, take place within the framework of the Week of Action Against Racism, promoting intercultural dialogue through the universal language of music.
Throughout the programme, children have:
-
explored musical instruments from a variety of cultural traditions
-
met local and international professional musicians from the Mérak M.A.L.L. APS association
-
discovered stories, sounds, and musical traditions from around the world
-
sung together in different languages, celebrating diversity through their voices
Through music, children learn that diversity is a valuable resource: just like in a musical ensemble, where each voice is unique, yet together they create harmony.
