Participation in MiC Expo 2025
MiC Expo|Catania|10 - 13 September 2025
MiC is a project that combines artistic residency, training, and networking for all professionals in the music industry.
The project MUSIC IN THE CIRCLE aims to create a dynamic international network of musicians, cultural operators, cultural centers with a regular musical programming along the year and festivals. The project will seek to exchange good practices and competences between partners and disseminate the experiences in the context of the final event to be held in Catania.
Music in the circle foresees two parallel cooperation paths: one managed by and addressed to cultural operators and professionals of the music industry, operating music venues or festivals: MiC professionals; another one managed by and addressed to musicians, MiC open Orchestra.

RAI Radio interview

We were honored to take part in Mirrni Vesht, the new radio program dedicated to the Arbëreshë minority, broadcast on RAI Radio 1 Calabria since September 20, 2025.
As ODDyssey Trio, we performed two original songs in the Arbëreshë language, blending tradition with contemporary sounds and influences. We also joined an interview about our culture, our music, and the inspirations behind our journey.
Programs like Mirrni Vesht are part of a long-standing commitment by RAI to give visibility to Italy’s historical linguistic minorities. Thanks to a national law (Law 482/1999), RAI develops radio and TV broadcasts in the languages of recognized minority communities – including Arbëreshë, Occitan, German, Ladin, Catalan, Slovenian, Greek, and others. These programs are designed not only to preserve languages and traditions, but also to share them with a wider audience, showing how cultural heritage can remain alive and evolve through new generations.
For us, being part of Mirrni Vesht was more than a performance: it was a way to celebrate our roots and contribute to keeping the Arbëreshë voice strong in today’s world.

A journey through music, creativity, and vision: “Mérak Experience: Connessioni, Arte e Passione” showcased the soul of the Mérak M.A.L.L. Association.
For two days, the event celebrated performances, art, and presentations, with the support of the CSV of Cosenza and the Municipalities of Castrovillari and Acquaformosa.

World music lab
Vaccarizzo| December 22, 2025
A journey with no luggage, just instruments and voices!
The World Music Workshop opened its doors to everyone: an afternoon where participants discovered traditional songs from around the world and explored the richness of cultures coming together through music.
It took place on December 20th at 3:00 PM in Vaccarizzo (CS), at the SAI community center “Milanese Renzo.”
Curiosity and a desire to share filled the room, and the music did the rest!

Lungro| January 04, 2026
Mérak participated in the Solidarity Concert organized by the Eparchy of Lungro, the Catholic Action of Lungro, Acquaformosa, and Firmo, and sponsored by the Municipality of Lungro. The event took place on Saturday, January 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Casa della Musica in Lungro.
Entrance was by voluntary donation, and the proceeds were donated to the children of Gaza through Caritas.

Trip to Strasbourg
Strasburg| January 2026
Last week Mérak set off for Strasbourg.
A journey shaped by meetings, shared music, and good food, marking the beginning of a new collaboration with the Association Ballade.
For over 25 years, Ballade has been promoting access to amateur music-making and the circulation of oral tradition music through workshops, activities for younger participants, international mobility projects, and a network of volunteer musicians from across Europe.
We believe in collaboration, in new generations, and in the strength of connections that cross borders.
This is how we want to create new possibilities, together.
